Welcome to From My Craft Table, the little corner of Vals Crafts Creations where I can share more than what fits inside a product listing.

I’m Valerie, the crafter, designer, maker, and creative mind behind Vals Crafts Creations. Creativity has been part of my life for many years, and over time that love for making things grew into the small business you see today.

My craft table is rarely quiet. One day I may be designing a new paper crafting collection, another day I’m crocheting a tiny character, preparing handmade gifts, working on a journal, experimenting with a new craft supply, or getting ready for an upcoming craft fair. There is usually yarn on one side of the room, paper on another, and at least one unfinished idea patiently waiting for its turn. 😊

That variety is one of the things I love most about creating. I don’t want to be limited to making just one type of product. Vals Crafts Creations has become a place where my different creative interests can live together, from handmade crochet pieces and paper crafting designs to journals, accessories, personalized gifts, and other creations that catch my imagination.

My faith is also an important part of who I am and naturally finds its way into many of the things I create. Some projects are openly faith-inspired, while others are simply made with the hope of bringing encouragement, beauty, or a little joy into someone’s day.

Through From My Craft Table, I’ll be sharing more of the story behind the shop. You can expect behind-the-scenes looks at what I’m making, paper crafting ideas, creative projects, new collections, craft-fair preparation, helpful tips, faith-inspired projects, and probably a few experiments that begin with, “I wonder what would happen if I tried this…” 😄

I also want this blog to be a place where I can slow down and share the process, not just the finished product. Handmade work has a story behind it: the idea, the supplies scattered across the table, the mistakes, the changes, and finally that moment when something comes together.
